New Caledonia Frosted Vanilla is a particularly rare and precious variety, known for its spectacular appearance and intense aromas. This vanilla is cultivated in an artisanal way in the tropical regions of New Caledonia, where the unique climate and terroir give the vanilla distinctive characteristics.
New Caledonia's frosted vanilla pods are distinguished by their unique appearance: they are covered with a thin layer of vanillin crystals, hence the term "frosted". These natural crystals, which form on the surface of the pods after a long drying and maturation process, give them a slightly shimmering appearance. The pods themselves are deep brown, long, supple, and fleshy, with a slightly oily texture.

Store at room temperature away from light and humidity in an airtight container, preferably glass, or ideally in the doypack bag supplied with the vanilla pods. Stored correctly, vanilla pods can be kept for several years while preserving their aromatic quality.
